Rick Boyer:
Home Educating With Confidence
When Rick and Marilyn Boyer started home educating the eldest of their four children back in 1980, they didn't know what they were getting into. Now,over twenty-seven years and ten additional children later, they know exactly what they got into - and they love it! In this session, Rick draws on the principles of Scripture and years of experience to show how home education can be simple, enjoyable and powerfully effective. You, too, can home educate with confidence!
Learning: So Easy You Can Do It in Your Sleep!
Psalm 16:7 says, “I will bless the Lord who has counseled me; indeed my mind instructs me in the night.” Deuteronomy chapter 6 tells us to teach God's Word to our children when they lie down and rise up. Why is this so important? What does it mean? Scientific research has clearly demonstrated the power of sleep in learning. Now learn how to make powerful use of some of the most important hours of your child's day!
The Hands-On Dad: The Father's Role in Home Education
Many home educators see the father's job as either that of substitute teacher standing in for Mom occasionally, or school janitor - doing housework to give Mom more time in the classroom. But the father's role is much more than that. Rick Boyer explains the seven functions of a father in Scripture and shows how they apply in the home teaching family to make the whole operation come alive.
Making a Difference: the Family Impacting Society
God has not called Christians to be influenced by society around them, but to be salt and light in that society. Every family must instill children with a sense of mission and equip them with methods to shine a light into the darkness of our community, city, and nation.
Marilyn Boyer:
Home Education- What it's Done for Our Family
When the Boyers started their home education adventure in 1980, there were 4 children in the family, all ages 5 and under. Today there are 14 Boyer kids, several of them young adults and making an impact in God's calling for their lives. In this workshop, Marilyn tells in her own words and theirs why the Boyers (ALL OF THEM) are glad God led them into the lifestyle of home education. This presentation is available as either a powerpoint presentation or with the use of an overhead projector.

Advanced Training (with TEEN Emphasis)
We're investing our lives into training believers to be strong and skilled soldiers in the most important battle of all eternity…but are you really fighting on the frontlines or just holding down the fort? This session will explore the role apologetics and worldview training play in the common cause of every Christ-follower to preach His Gospel and advance His Kingdom.

Cory is the founder of The Cross Current (TCC) evangelism project and host of TCC Radio. Having personally street witnessed and open air preached to hundreds of people, he and his team equip people of all ages at all levels of personal evangelism to share their faith simply, biblically and effectively. Like the man who built his house on the rock, this workshop promises to give you a solid Scriptural structure for witnessing in your world!
God Keep Our Land
While most Canadians are thankful for the blessings we enjoy in this great nation, it seems that statistically many of us are totally unaware that our country was actually founded upon principles of God. This patriotic session will celebrate our godly heritage and offer Scriptural insights as to how we can take personal responsibility to play our part in restoring Canada back to its former glory.
