"Heartbeats of Discipleship: Shaping Your Child's Heart to Live for God"
Sally Clarkson - Sally discusses the biblical commitments parents must make to reach and shape the hearts of their children for Christ-obedience, discipline, love, protection and direction. Filled with insightful biblical instruction and real-life personal illustrations.

"Power of Ceremony"
HSLDA Dr. Dan Reinhardt - A celebrated event has much more power than we realize. This workshop explores this unused tool at our disposal to shape young lives. You will leave this session with a vision of how you can impact the lives of your children, together with a set of good ideas that you can implement immediately.

"Seasons of a Mother's Heart - Heart-to-Heart Encouragement for Homeschool Moms"
Sally Clarkson - Sally shares lessons she has learned about herself, her children, and her Lord, from the seasons of her life as a Christian homeschooling wife and mother of over 20 years. She opens windows through spiritual insights and real-life stories from the home-front lines.

"Homeschooling Foundations for the New Home Educator"
HSLDA Dr. Dan Reinhardt - This session will explain again why homeschooling is such a positive choice for parents who desire to raise their children with character. Dan and Anne Reinhardt have been in the homeschooling movement for over 20 years. You will leave this session with an understanding of the fundamentals of homeschooling, together with the proven results that have shown up decades later.

Sally Clarkson - How to turn homeschooling into a living and learning lifestyle with 12 commitments of WholeHearted Learning-seeing your child through God's eyes, "whole book" learning methods, fine arts studies, creative writing, using "discovery corners," and much more.

"Home Education in New Brunswick Update" and HENB Annual General Meeting
HSLDA Dr. Dan Reinhardt - Dr. Dan Reinhardt will provide update to changes in Home Education in New Brunswick and open the HENB Annual General Meeting.

"Making the Most of Summertime"
Stephanie Jackson - Summertime is a smorgishborg of opportunity. Explore non-traditional learning opportunities that will encourage and delight the whole family.

"Post Secondary Education Panel"
Maritime Universities and Colleges - Considering post secondary education, but still have many questions? HENB has invited several local post secondary education schools to participate in a special workshop panel to answer frequently asked questions about their school. After the workshop school representatives will be in the vendor hall to answer your specific questions. What is your home school entrance policy? Do you offer guidance services for home schooled students? If a student is missing a prerequisite high school subject, do you have a way for them to pick up this subject? Do you offer private tours? Do you offer class shadowing? Explain. Do you have an open house? What type of scholarships, bursaries or funding is available to home schooled students?.

"Home Educating High School"
Stephanie Jackson - Transitioning from the early years to highschool can seem daunting. In this session, we will take a look at required credits, post-secondary applications and admissions, transcripts, portfolios, schedules and why these will be some of the best years of your homeschool journey.

"Meat, Potatoes and Vegetables of Homeschooling"
Sarah Zuidhof - "Kids won't care how much you know until they know how much you care." With this as a foundation, you are your kid's best teacher. Many homeschooling parents come into this teaching role from various areas of study and levels of education. A classroom teacher and homeschooling mom shares three valuable perspectives on the learning process and curriculum that have shaped her own journey of home education.
This session will cover the three following aspects:
- philosophy: explicit and implicit curriculum, articulating why you homeschool
- outcomes: writing own curriculum, asking essential questions as you teach
- nurturing your inner self to be the most effective teacher/ learner
